F. W. Holroyd was established in 1912 by Frederick William Holroyd who started a tradition of Design, Source and Supply
of the right product for the right customer.
F. W. Holroyd offers unrivalled experience and expertise to the Framing and Fine Art Industry with a product range of quality and service which is second to none.
The business changed ownership in 2005 and is now owned by Ken and Nicola Ralston who are both committed to developing the business further by delivering aquality product and service levels that are the envy of the industry.

With your purchase of machinery from F. W. Holroyd we will offer a full day of training. We can also offer advice on framing that ‘awkward job’.
Retail Price Advice
As an F. W. Holroyd customer you are now able to receive a copy of our retail price guide.
J.E.M. Service (Just Enough Moulding)
Our new J.E.M. service offers almost all the benefits of chop service but at a vastly reduced cost.
How does it work? If you require a frame of 30cm x 40cm, glass size, then we will send you four lengths of moulding, Straight cut, Not mitred, so that you can mitre your moulding in the usual fashion.
All you need is a range of Holroyd mouldings on your wall and we will hold the stock for you as required.
Fine Art Trade Guild
We are the Scottish Guild Commended Framer Test Centre. Tests are held throughout the year.
Morso Blade Sharpening
We offer a Morso blade sharpening service using our custom made blade sharpening machine from Dan-List, Denmark. Blades are hollowground to 30º as recommended by Morso and are hand finished to produce the perfect result for the perfect mitre.
